“Bodies—the crowd—flow into a single music.”
Kim Mingwan · ARTSCENE, 19 JUN 2026 · translated from Korean ↗
At what temperature do we meet one another today?
The distance between people is difficult to navigate. Too close, and we get hurt; too far apart, and we feel excluded. Perhaps that is why there is so much advice about finding the right distance—from relationship psychology and MBTI to algorithmic recommendations. These may all be attempts to find ways of relating that hurt less and feel more comfortable.
We live in a time when relationships appear close but conversations remain shallow, and connection does not always bring understanding. Tenderness can feel embarrassing or uncomfortable. 36.5°C revisits this forgotten sense of tenderness through the body.
36.5 degrees: an ideal body temperature. Yet our relationships today may be a little colder or a little hotter. We hope to explore the space in between, together.
