Bare ground

At a moment of change, beyond adaptation towards transformation.
Beings that find a way to bloom in the harshest conditions.

Throughout our lives, we continually encounter change. It can be frightening and confusing, yet it is also an inevitable part of growth and survival.

This work begins with plants that flower to survive even in extreme environments. Their ability to endure harsh conditions and assert their existence resembles our own lives. Like plants searching for a place to take root, or organisms that reshape their bodies in response to their surroundings, we find new ways of existing through change.

How do we exist in unfamiliar surroundings? And how do we accept the changes we face? Bare ground offers a response through the body.
